Biografia Albert Howard

Sir Albert Howard (1873-1947) ha operato a lungo come agronomo al servizio di sua maestà britannica nelle terre dell'impero. Gli studi sull’agricoltura organica sono introdotti all’inizio del secolo scorso dal botanico inglese Sir Albert Howard. Egli trascorre oltre vent’anni in India ed osserva i metodi di coltura dei contadini locali, allo scopo di individuare dei sistemi efficaci per sconfiggere le malattie delle piante. I suoi studi lo portano ben presto alla rivalutazione dei sistemi tradizionali, e all’elaborazione di un approccio alternativo nella considerazione del processo agricolo.
