Edmund Burke biografia

C.) e Aristotele (384-322 a. Nell'aprile dello stesso anno dÓ alle stampe A Philosophical Inquiry into the Origin of Our Ideas of the Sublime and Beautiful. Burke siede dunque nei banchi dell'opposizione per la maggior parte della propria carriera politica ed Ŕ durante questa seconda fase della sua esistenza che lo statista-pensatore pubblica le opere pi¨ note, fra cui Thoughts on the Causes of the Present Discontents nel 1770, Speech on the Conciliation with the Colonies nel 1775, Reflections on the Revolution in France nel 1790, Thoughts on the French Affairs e Appeal from the New to the Old Whigs nel 1791, nonchÚ le Letters on a Regicide Peace, concluse nel 1796.
