Commissioned to write titillating letters to Franz, a friend in Austria, with the intention of enticing him back to Fun City as soon as possible, the author sets out to create a Pattaya full of fun, bargirls, sensational sex, and more, but at a certain point the author runs out of steam. He commissions his friend, The King, a man who is never wrong, to continue writing but The King gets hospitalised. Desperate for another writer-narrator, the author asks old friends back in the UK to look around.
