The Palestine Consultancy Group and Truman Institute have allied to produce several landmark studies in Palestinian-Israeli cooperation in environmental matters, economics, education for coexistence, and the psychology of conflict, all within the context of Jerusalem. In this collection of papers representing the first stage of a study of the future of Jerusalem, contributors begin with descriptions of a master plan for Jerusalem and then examine aspects of sovereignty, such as access, a medical model, and the possibility of using education as a paradigm. They also describe in detail their research on the complexities of Jerusalem's holy places, why they are universally significant, how they are defined, where they are, and how they came to be as they are now.
