About the Author: Alana Cohen, M.S. CCC-SLP, is a Speech Language Pathologist who understands that the way something is communicated can change everything. Alana holds her Masters degree from Teachers College of Columbia University, but her real training began when she first became a mom. When her daughter experienced changes and mood swings that were beyond typical ?terrible twos? and ?threenager? behavior, she knew she had to figure out what was really going on. It finally became clear that the root cause was her gut health. When faced with the need to make significant changes to her daughter?s diet, she knew she had to keep things positive and get her daughter on board. And so, the ?buggies? were born. And it worked! A year later, when her four-year old daughter asked her why everyone doesn?t know about the buggies, Alana knew she had to spread the word.
