We will consider the sacraments in their fullness. They are the power to transform our life, but we must first con sider them as verba Verbi. Christ Himself in His powerful pre sence preaches and brings the Good Tidings to us. It is not Just a 2000 year old message coming from afar. It is the Lord Himself speaking to us within the Church in the power of His death and resurrection. The church is first of all, as the Constitution on the Church says, the fundamental sacrament, the great sign, the great Word of Love that continues the message of Christ, where Christ Himself preaches His Gospel.
