Biografia R. A. Salvatore

Bob Salvatore è nato in Massachusetts nel 1959.

Nel 1981 ottiene un "Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications" presso l'università statale di Fitchburg, per poi successivamente consenguire il titolo da sempre voluto, il "Bachelor of Arts in English".

Il primo romanzo viene pubblicato nel 1988 presso la TSR con il titolo "The Crystal Shard".
Nei primi tempi il lavoro di scrittore si alterna ad altri impegni, ma dal 1990 egli inizia a lavorare a tempo pieno ai suoi romanzi.
R. A. Salvatore è più conosciuto come il creatore dell'elfo scuro Drizzt.
Più di tre milioni di volumi sono stati venduti nel mondo, con numerose traduzioni in varie lingue oltre a riduzioni audio.

Vive in Massachusetts, con la moglie Diane ed i loro tre bambini, Bryan, Geno, e Caitlin, il loro cane Pozze, ed un gatto chiamato Guenhwyvar.
