This two-volume set documents installations by acclaimed American artist Joseph Kosuth which have been commissioned by Juliana Engberg of the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art in Melbourne, Australia. The first was shown in the Talbot Rice Gallery, University of Edinburgh in 2009 and later at Anna Schwartz Gallery, Sydney, while the second was shown at ACCA, Melbourne, in the summer of 2010-2011.Joseph Kosuth's work, executed principally in text formed of neon lighting, first appeared in the 1960s and has consistently explored the role of language and its meanings in art. His forty years enquiry has led to commissions and publications throughout Europe, the Americas, and Asia - including five Documenta(s) and six Venice Biennale(s). He lives in Rome and New York City.
